Our Adoption Process

Here at ARK we strongly believe there is somebody for everybody. The perfect match takes time to find and we do not want to rush the process. For this reason, potential adopters are allowed to visit our facility for as long as they would like, spending time with each pet, with no time limit to decide.

Want to meet available pets? Come in anytime during our open hours to meet them.

Wednesday through Sunday; 12 to 5pm.

Along with not requiring appointments for adoptions, we also allow adopters to place a non-refundable deposit on a dog/puppy to hold them for 72 hours to allow ample time to come meet the pet. We understand work schedules and kids can make meeting times during the week hard. Interested in placing a deposit? Shoot us an email at ARKPetBoutique@gmail.com.

Dog Adoptions

So you're interested in adopting a rescue dog? That's amazing and could be one of the best decisions you have ever made! Here at ARK we believe pets are a lifetime commitment, therefore the decision to adopt is big one, and we encourage all of our adopters to consult with friends and family that this decision is the right one for them.

At ARK we understand the commitment our adopters are making to add a new family member and we are committed to setting each family up with the tools they need to succeed. While our adoption fee's may seem high to some, they are made to reflect the cost that adopting a dog if one were to adopt from a breeder and take on all the care on their own. Each adoption fee covers the spay and neuter which in todays world can cost close to $600.

We also include the first month of pet insurance. This is SO IMPORTANT when adopting a rescue pet. Rescues and shelters are rescuing dogs from the streets and taking them into their care. When being adopted out, there is no way to absolutely guarantee that your pet has not been exposed to an illness like Parvo. The insurance offered at adoption relieves the financial burden of a potential hospitalization if their newly adopted pet becomes ill.
